Legacy Announces Brand Ambassadors for Q3
The purpose of the Brand Ambassador Program is to highlight employees who represent Legacy’s Core Values of Excellence, Education, Energy, and Empowerment. Legacy employees submit nominations, and a committee selects one ambassador per core value each quarter.
We are pleased to announce the selection of our Quarter 3 Legacy Brand Ambassadors.
Excellence- Samantha M.
Samantha is a Financial Service Officer I and has been with Legacy for 3 years. In her nominations, she was described as being “one of the most welcoming personalities as Legacy.” Samantha was commended for her positive energy, pleasant personality, and joyful presence. She strives to make a personal connection with all she interacts with. She does a wonderful job and is a splendid mentor. “Samantha has always shown Excellence. She always goes the extra mile for our members and for other employees. She always helps make rough days better, and I can always count on her. Samantha will be one of the best leaders for Legacy in the future!” said Tiffany C., Meadowbrook Branch Manager. When asked how it felt to be nominated as a Brand Ambassador, Samantha said, “I am very honored that so many people see the excellence that I strive to put into my work and interactions. I always give the type of service and interactions that I would want to receive. As an FSO, I deal with a lot of different types of transactions, specialty accounts, fraud, etc. The most important thing I need to do is be compassionate and sometimes just lend a listening ear. It is rewarding when members remark about how easy, fast, and friendly the service was that they received. That is the excellence I aim for!”
Education- Charity H.
Charity is a Centralized Loan Officer II and has been with Legacy for 2 years. Charity was noted for being an “extremely knowledgeable resource” and shows a “genuine desire to help.” She was praised for going above and beyond to educate our members. She was described as having a “teach a man to fish” attitude and highlighted for knowing the ins and outs of our products and services. She never hesitates to share that knowledge with co-workers or members. JoLyn B., AVP of Centralized Lending, said, “Charity is a tremendous asset to our lending team. She brings an extensive amount of lending experience and is always willing to share her knowledge with those around her. She truly embodies our core value of education, working closely with our members to create personalized loan solutions that fit their needs.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Charity said, “One of my favorite quotes about education is from Benjamin Franklin. ‘Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.‘ I feel very blessed to be nominated by my co-workers to be the education ambassador this quarter. I always try to ‘educate’ our members and help my co-workers anytime I can. In turn, I also like to learn and soak up as much as I can so I can be a well-rounded person/employee.”
Energy- Emily W.
Emily is a Member Service Associate at our Huffman Branch and has been with Legacy for 1 year. Emily always has a great attitude, and was described as providing “the best experience to members and co-workers.” It was noted how Emily takes pride in her job, comes each day ready to work, and consistently goes above and beyond. She has a charming personality and constantly makes our members smile. When asked how it felt to be nominated by her peers, Emily said, “I believe my energy at work stems from the amazing people I work with, and the members that I’m fortunate enough to help every day. My co-workers are able to keep me grounded and also help lift me up. The members are always so patient, kind, and understanding. If it wasn’t for them being so great, I wouldn’t be able to be the best me.” Diane K., Huffman Branch Manager, said “Emily represents our core value of energy in everything she does. Her positivity and dedication are truly inspiring, making her a joy to work with and also a great asset to our Huffman team.”
Empowerment- Jean H.
Jean is a Mortgage Loan Officer II and has been with Legacy 28 years. Jean was highlighted for “encouraging our members” by empowering them with the knowledge they need regarding their mortgage loans. Her work ethic shows she genuinely cares about our members and their finances. She was noted for always being “ready to work” with our members to help them reach their financial goals. Brad M., AVP of Real Estate Lending, described Jean as “an excellent example of what it means to empower others and yourself. Her confidence in her own knowledge has helped to develop trust among co-workers and members alike. She is regularly looked to by both for guidance and advice. She goes above and beyond to provide solutions for our members. She operates with our member’s best interests at heart and provides them with the tools they need to reach their financial goals. She is an excellent representative of Legacy and a pleasure to work with.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Jean said, “Wow, what a nice surprise!
