Legacy Announces Q4 Brand Ambassadors

The purpose of the Brand Ambassador Program is to highlight employees who represent Legacy’s Core Values of Excellence, Education, Energy, and Empowerment. Legacy employees submit nominations, and a committee selects one ambassador per core value each quarter.

We are pleased to announce the selection of our 2024 Quarter 4 Legacy Brand Ambassadors.

Excellence- Gloria S.
Gloria is a Member Service Specialist and has been with Legacy for 2 ½ years. In her nominations, she was described as “going above and beyond” in taking care of our members. Gloria was commended numerous times for her attention to detail, noting how she has saved members and Legacy thousands of dollars in stopping fraud. “Gloria does a fantastic job and is a great mentor. She is always ready to step up and handle any situation that arises.” said Ana G., Chace Lake Branch Manager. When asked how it felt to be nominated as a Brand Ambassador, Gloria said, “Even though I was voted as Brand Ambassador for Excellence, all of my coworkers exude excellence in everything they do as well. It truly is a team effort at Legacy, and I’m proud to play my part in that! The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping members through difficult financial situations, and working to craft a financial solution tailored to a member’s specific needs! Everyone deserves to have a judgement-free helping hand in times of need, and I am so proud to be able to provide that!”

Education- Shannon D.
Shannon is a Member Service Representative and has been with Legacy just shy of 2 years. Shannon was noted for her dedication to learning. She has completed over 90 e-learning courses to improve her knowledge on a wide range of topics. Shannon puts forth “great effort in learning and passing along what she learns” to members and her teammates. Ana G., Chace Lake Branch Manager, said, “Shannon is great at educating members. She never hesitates to share her knowledge. She truly embodies our core value of Education by devoting herself to learn and pass knowledge onto others.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Shannon said, “I am so humbled that I was nominated. This truly made my day! I really love all aspects of my position here at Legacy, but my favorite part is interacting with all of the members. I get to help them and also get to talk to them to learn more every day.”

Energy- Heidi K.
Heidi is a Card Services Representative and has been with Legacy for 2 years. Heidi was praised for her consistent positive energy. Legacy team members said, “Every time I speak with Heidi, she answers the phone with the same energy and kindness. I can actually hear her smile over the phone!” It was noted how Heidi always maintains enthusiasm and professionalism in whatever situation she is dealing with, and her energy was described as refreshing. Tatianna W., Loss Prevention Manager, said, “When I think of the core value of Energy, Heidi is one of the first individuals that comes to mind. Compassionate, caring, and charismatic are three words that describe Heidi best. She radiates positivity, which has motivated numerous members to reach out and praise her for a job well done. They appreciated her sincere attitude and that she went above and beyond while assisting them. Our team wouldn’t be the same without her.” When asked how it felt to be nominated by her peers, Heidi said, “I am honored and so ecstatic to be nominated. It feels refreshing to know that I have a positive impact on my coworkers and our members!”

Empowerment- Danette M.
Danette is a Branch Manager at our Trussville branch and has been with Legacy 8 ½ years. Danette was highlighted for being “an amazing leader and teacher.” She takes the time to ensure all her team members are capable of doing their jobs and empowers them to make decisions or bring forward ideas. One nominator stated, “She has built my confidence to a level that I did not know I could reach.” Haley W., Director of Branch Operations, described Danette as “having the ability to uplift, lead, and inspire all of those around her. She takes the time to make sure her team has the knowledge they need to be successful and encourages them to feel empowered. I am so proud to have her at Legacy as one of our branch leaders.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Danette said, “Being nominated by my peers for the Brand Ambassador role for empowering my team is a tremendous honor. It’s rewarding to work with individuals who inspire me every day.”

Congratulations to our new Legacy Brand Ambassadors! Our quarterly winners will receive a Lands’ End Program Certificate to purchase new Legacy apparel, lunch on Legacy, recognition at Legacy employee events, and a Certificate of Achievement. In December, employees will vote from the pool of our quarterly winners to choose a Brand Ambassador of the Year for each Core Value. Our yearly winners will receive a bonus vacation day, a group lunch with senior management, and a plaque. The yearly Brand Ambassador winners will be announced at the Legacy Christmas party each year.
