Plans for New Branch on US Highway 280

Anticipated Opening Fall 2019

Legacy Community Federal Credit Union has purchased the former Regions Bank building, located at the corner of Meadowbrook Drive and US Highway 280, with plans to relocate its current Hwy 280 branch to this site.

Legacy recently purchased the existing 4,000 square-feet building and one acre of adjacent land with plans for a complete renovation of the existing building. Legacy also plans extensive landscaping improvements, including the nearly 400 feet of frontage along US Hwy 280. The design phase of the renovations has been underway for several weeks, and final designs should be complete by mid-April.

Legacy’s new branch will incorporate a number of progressive design elements that will encourage more interaction between members and Legacy associates. The facility will deliver an improved member experience with a focus on crafting personalized financial solutions for members with all types of financial needs. As a community credit union, Legacy also hope to provide community space for civic groups and financial education programs.

The construction and renovation portion of the project should be fully underway by late spring. Legacy anticipates the opening of the new branch in late Fall 2019.
